Bought a size 16 and an 18, ended up returning the 18, but the 16 (my son really just started wearing size 14) is really just fitting, probably won't get another year out of it, but I wanted them to fit right and the 18 was too long. Small part is around the waist. Other than compensating for the size, they are great, seem to be of very high quality, he says they are quite warm, and I love the suspenders without having to have the bib.
